Career Counselling

Being satisfied with one’s work is one of the most important aspects of an individual’s personal happiness. Dissatisfaction with work can spread into other parts of one’s life, affecting relationships with family and friends. In my view, “career” refers to the lifetime pursuits of an individual, and career counselling refers to how individuals see themselves in relationship to what they do both at work and in the other roles they pursue.

Typically when people come for career counselling they know exactly what they want to get out of the process, but are unsure about how it will work.

In my practice I work with people from all walks of life, adolescents looking to explore career options or experienced professionals looking for a career change. My practice includes assessments such as interest inventories, cognitive ability tests, and personality assessments.

The focus is generally on issues such as career exploration, career change, personal career development and other career related issues.
